The Rocky Mountain Disability & Business Technical Assistance Center is supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education's National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).

NIDRR's mission is to generate, disseminate and promote knowledge that will improve the lives of people with disabilities in their communities. To achieve these goals, NIDRR* conducts comprehensive and coordinated programs of research and related activities to assist in the achievement of the full inclusion, social integration, employment, and independent living of people with disabilities. Their research is conducted via a network of individual research projects and centers of excellence throughout the country.
